Can Faktum Invoicing software be used by more than one user at the same time?

Standard version

The standard Faktum Invoicing software can be installed on several computers or for multiple users on the same computer without problem. However, only one user at a time can be running the application. For a different user to view the same information, the current user has to quit the application first.

This is not a problem if multiple users are using the software from the same computer as there can only be 1 person logged in.

If the software is installed on multiple computers however, in order to use the same information, the Database has to be in a place that both computers can access and while one is using a database, no one else can. Using 2 database files is not an option since then, the data will be different and cannot be shared.

SQL Server software

It is possible to get a customized software version that uses SQL server instead of the normal database file. Such a system can be used by more than one user at a time.
