How do I move my software and data to a different computer?

Faktum Faktura stores all of its information in a database file. To move this to a different computer one only has to copy the file from the old computer to the new one.

This file is located in My Documents/Faktum. This folder contains the Database file, a shortcut to the database file and possibly a Backup folder.

Copy the Database file (Faktum Invoicing Database.ffen) to the new computer. The location of the database file is not really important, but we suggest you place it in the usual place, i.e., My Documents/Faktum.

When the file is on the new computer, download and install the Faktum Invoicing software from our download page. When the application starts, you will be asked whether you want to Create a new Database or Open an Existing database. Choose 'Open an Existing database' and select the database file that you just copied on the new computer. Faktum Invoicing will now open with all your old invoices and documents available.
